These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the store at bitsypaws.com, operated by BitsyPaws ("we," "us," "our"). By browsing the store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy, which form part of these Terms.

Disclaimer

This store is integrated with the Western Bid™ e-commerce platform, and Western Bid, Inc. is the Merchant of Record for all purchases made in this store. Therefore, you will see "WESTERN BID" listed as the payee on your PayPal account and credit card statement.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and complete, and that you are using a payment method you are authorised to use.

Products, pricing and availability

We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours, textures and proportions may look slightly different on your screen, and product photos are illustrative rather than an exact representation of every unit.

All prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise and may change at any time before you place an order. Where a crossed-out "compare at" price is shown, it is a price at which the product has previously been offered in this store. Promotional prices apply only while the promotion is running.

Products are offered while stocks last. We may limit quantities, discontinue a product, or correct pricing and description errors at any time, including after an order has been placed. If we cancel an order for this reason, we will refund you in full.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we send you an order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if the product is unavailable, if there is an error in the price or description, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if we cannot ship to your address. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.

Please check your order carefully before you pay. If you need to change or cancel it, email us as soon as possible. Once an order has been sent to fulfilment we may not be able to change it.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout by Western Bid, Inc. as Merchant of Record, through PayPal or Stripe. By paying you also accept the terms of the payment provider you choose. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion or foreign transaction fees, which are outside our control.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery times shown on the site are estimates, not guarantees. Some of our products ship from overseas, including from China, and delivery can be delayed by customs, carriers, weather or holidays. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the order to the address you provided.

You are responsible for giving a correct and complete shipping address. Orders returned to us because of an incorrect address may incur reshipping costs.

Any import duties or taxes charged by your country are your responsibility unless we state otherwise at checkout.

Returns and refunds

Our Refund Policy explains how to return an item and how refunds are handled. Refunds are issued by Western Bid to the original payment method. Refunds normally take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or PayPal.

Using our products safely

Our Halloween costume is a pet accessory. It is not a toy and is not intended for unsupervised wear.

• Choose the size using our size guide and adjust the straps so two fingers fit underneath.
• Never leave your pet unsupervised while wearing the costume.
• Remove it if your pet shows signs of stress or discomfort.
• Don't use it on a pet with injuries, skin problems or breathing difficulties without asking your vet first.

You are responsible for fitting the costume correctly and supervising your pet while it's worn.

Reviews and other content you send us

If you send us a review, photo, video or comment, you keep ownership of it, but you give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt and display it in connection with our store and our marketing, including on social media and in advertising. You confirm that the content is yours, that any people shown have agreed to appear, and that it does not break any law or anyone else's rights.

We may edit or remove content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, or unrelated to our products. We do not offer any compensation for content unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Our intellectual property

The store, our brand names and logos, text, product descriptions, photographs, videos and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the store to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or copy content in bulk, to place fraudulent orders, or to harass our team or other customers. We may suspend access or cancel orders if you do.

Third-party links

Our store may link to other websites and services that we do not control, such as payment providers, tracking pages and social media. We are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

Warranties and liability

Except where the law says otherwise, the store and our products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the store will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or injury to a pet or person arising from misuse of a product. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights given to you by the consumer laws of your country.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our products or the store.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to our business. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights the consumer laws of your country give you, including the right to bring a claim where you live.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. We will update the date at the top whenever we make changes.
